Korrika's message
I am the Basque language people, a way of life, a way of being.
Like fire, I am always the same, always new.
Welcome to my home, to our home.
From the past to the present, a refuge whose doors are always open.
You and I are the Basque language. We are one.
We are a million Basque speakers, and we will be more.
We are a free and open community being reborn, creating our future together.
We are Euskal Herria, the land we are going to cross from one end to the other.
Speak up and take action to prioritise diversity and mutual care.
Take the plunge and get involved, we want adult Basque learning at the forefront.
We are all essential. Everyone has value, and every speaker is important.
Those who have enrolled in the euskaltegi, those whose first language is Basque, those who have come from abroad, those who want to learn and live in Basque in the Basque Country.
We are all one people.
We are Euskara.
Listen to Korrika’s appeal.
Let's quiver, let's be strong.
The Korrika flames have been lit!...

Tribute: Errigora
For the 24th Korrika, we want to pay tribute to Errigora. Korrika wishes to recognise the efforts of those working to promote the Basque language, and to express its support for their work, past and present, and encourage them to continue their efforts.
Errigora is a citizen initiative rooted in the Basque Country that operates on a community-work basis. With a focus on southern Navarre, an area where Basque is not an official language, promoting Basque foodstuff from this part of Euskal Herria, using the Basque language as a foundation, the target and the means. Like Korrika, it encourages Basque citizens to get involved and collaborates with entrepreneurs to promote the Basque language. It is well known throughout the Basque Country and shares the same values as Korrika. Its aim is to provide first-hand responses to common problems and address future challenges, whether they are linguistic, climatic or identity-related emergencies.
We want to celebrate the value of being small because each and every one of us plays a part in keeping the Basque language alive. Language unites us, from Atharratze to Bilbao and across the Ribera Navarra region. In all these places, we are Basque, and it is our Basque identity that unites us. We must think and believe in the community, and collaborate. The challenge is to promote the learning of the Basque language among adults. Errigora is also supporting us in this area. We agree on principles: the promotion of Euskara and sovereignty.
With the 24th KORRIKA, we want to recognise the progress that Errigora has made so far. It recognises their efforts to promote the Basque language in Navarre, where it is not an official language, and gives it a boost for the future. Let's continue to fiercely promote the Basque language.
